Dr. Joshua Jorde

D.C. | drjosh@reineckeclinic.com

Dr. Joshua Jorde is a Sioux Falls native who graduated from Roosevelt High School in 2005. He went on to begin his pre-chiropractic course work at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion. He then completed his bachelor’s degree and then doctorate of chiropractic at the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.

Going through school he sought to learn as much as he could about the various chiropractic techniques. A few specific ones he learned beyond the standard coursework were Sacral-Occipital Technique, NUCCA, Activator, Nimmo Receptor Tonus (a soft tissue technique to relax muscles and muscle spasms), and Cox Flexion-Distraction. He continues his studying of different techniques even at Reinecke Chiropractic both in learning the Reinecke method as well as more specific tips and tricks to individual adjustments. He also developed in interest in adjusting and diagnosis of children and infants.

Towards the end of his schooling at Palmer he was able to attend a Clinic Abroad trip to see patients in India for two weeks. After graduation, he went on to perform more international chiropractic work as an associate doctor in Dublin, Ireland for almost two years where he met his wife Sharon. He is currently the third of four chiropractors in his family including an uncle and cousin who graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic and another cousin who is also a Palmer graduate.

Dr. Josh and Sharon began fostering children in August 2018, beginning by going from no kids to three overnight. They look forward to carrying on with new foster placements in the future.

In addition to chiropractic, Dr. Josh also enjoys history, reading, and helping out/watching his father fly electric airplanes.
